Making our supplement sachets 100% recyclable is something we have been looking at for quiet a while now but because the contents are hygroscopic meaning they absorb moisture from the air they need to be in an airtight environment (the foil sachets) which does not allow air in each time it was opened otherwise making them hard and clumpy and you would be unable to dissolve them.
Over the past two years we have been working on recycling and waste minimization in Revive Active. All Revive Active outer boxes are 100% recyclable. This helps to reduce carbon footprint and reduces the amount of waste sent to landfills and incinerators.
Over the last 18 months we have been changing all our printed boxes to make them fully recyclable. In the next few years, we hope to have fully recyclable packaging. We think the environment plays a crucial role in our well-being and we have a responsibility to protect it as much as we can.
We also run a Sustainability initiative #EnrichYourEnvironement here Revive Active developed a multichannel sustainability campaign partnering with Hometree. Hometree are a non-profit organisation with a vision to restore Irelands ancient wildwood. Over the last 5 years, Hometree have planted over 30,000 pioneer trees in the republic of Ireland. Hundreds of people have contributed time and resources to the vision of incorporating more trees into Irish landscape, with that, this brings multiple benefits.
We are constantly working towards making all our product materials 100% recyclable and are currently awaiting an update on regulations to be able to make any declarations as yet.
