Recycling & Disposal
Making our supplement sachets 100% recyclable is something we have been working towards for quite some time. However, because the contents are hygroscopic, meaning they absorb moisture from the air, they must be stored in an airtight environment. The foil sachets currently provide the necessary protection by preventing moisture from entering once opened. Without this barrier, the powder could become hard and clumpy, making it difficult to dissolve.
Over the past two years, we have also been updating all of our printed boxes to ensure they are fully recyclable. All Revive Active outer boxes are now 100% recyclable, helping to reduce our carbon footprint and minimise the amount of waste sent to landfill and incineration.
In the next few years, we hope to achieve fully recyclable packaging across our range in the coming years. We believe the environment plays a crucial role in our wellbeing, and we recognise our responsibility to protect it as much as possible.
We also run a Sustainability initiative #EnrichYourEnvironement, here Revive Active developed a multichannel sustainability campaign partnering with Hometree.
Hometree are a non-profit organisation with a vision to restore Irelands ancient wildwood. Over the last 5 years, Hometree have planted over 30,000 pioneer trees in the Republic of Ireland. Hundreds of people have contributed time and resources to the vision of incorporating more trees into Irish landscape, with that, this brings multiple benefits.
We are constantly working towards making all our product materials 100% recyclable and are currently awaiting an update on regulations to be able to make any declarations as yet.
